Why It Matters
Managers have an outsized influence on the workplace experience. Research consistently shows that the relationship employees have with their manager is one of the strongest predictors of engagement, performance, and retention. Organizations thrive when managers understand how their actions, decisions, and communication shape team dynamics. Developing thoughtful management skills helps leaders create environments where employees feel supported, motivated, and accountable for meaningful results.
